e*thirteen's headquarters are located in Petaluma, California, and Squamish, British Columbia. Both these towns are major hubs of mountain biking. The brand lives and breathes mountain biking and has located itself in some of the best riding locations in North America. At its core, e*thirteen is a small group of riders who think up, engineer, and create new products that they know will improve the way they ride their bikes. When it comes to the mountain bike industry, the best products come from riders themselves and e*thirteen is a company of riders through and through. From affordable entry-level components to high-end carbon “Race” products, e*thirteen strives to improve the ride of all riders everywhere.
e*thirteen first gained recognition in the early 2000s for their superior chain guide systems. The California-based company soon became the industry leader in chain retention. Since their inception in 2001, e*thirteen has expanded their product offering to include wheels, tires, drivetrain components, and many others. All their current products still contain the same high-performance pedigree of their original chain guides. e*thirteen has a laser-sharp focus on improving the ride for everyone, providing beautiful, well-engineered products to riders everywhere.
The drivetrain is the heart of every bicycle. You must keep the pedals spinning to move forward. e*thirteen understands the importance of the drivetrain and sells several drivetrain components designed to improve the function of your bike’s drivetrain. Product features include a two-piece cassette design that allows you to easily replace your two lowest gears and a 9-tooth cog which provides a larger gear range than stock cassettes. These upgraded products and e*thirteen’s industry-leading cranksets and chain guides can take your current drivetrain to the next level.
e*thirteen has 4 different series of wheels that cater to multiple disciplines of mountain biking. At the top of the range is the LG1 series downhill wheels. Most notably attached to the bike of World Cup Overall Champion Aaron Gwin, the LG1 wheels are tough and bulletproof. The next wheel offering is the TRS series, which is ideal for enduro, all-mountain, and trail riding. e*thirteen's lightest wheels live in the XCX series. These wheels are designed for cross-country riding. Then finally, the e*spec series, as you could guess, is designed for use on e-bikes that require higher strength standards.
e*thirteen produces tires for trail, enduro, and downhill riding. With two different tread patterns, three different tire casing options, and three different compound options, there is an e*thirteen tire perfect for your riding style and terrain.

Handlebars and stems are the newest additions to e*thirteen’s line-up. Offering carbon and two different aluminum options, there is an e*thirteen handlebar for every rider. Featuring a 35mm bore diameter and an uncut width of 800mm, e*thirteen handlebars are ready to get as rowdy as you are. Also new to the e*thirteen line-up is the return of their platform pedal. This time around the company redesigned their aluminum pedal and released a composite version that shares the same dimensions.
