The Specialized Stumpjumper Comp Bike combines the pure speed DNA of the Epic EVO with the benchmark capability of the new Stumpjumper EVO. The Comp version of the Specialized Stumpjumper Bike comes with a Shimano SLX 12-speed drivetrain. Shimano SLX M7120 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes provide excellent stopping power so you can descend with confidence. We get a lot of questions about e-bikes, especially the Orbea Rise, so we figured we’d throw up a quick long-term review of one from one of the employees here at Jenson, Alex. Alex lives up in the mountains here in Southern California and has to do a fair bit of climbing and pedaling around at his local trail system to get to trails. Because he is in such high elevation, oxygen levels are different and make it a bit more difficult to breathe. This alone made it hard for him to enjoy long rides, especially when temperatures drop and snow season arrives.
