Since 1991, Sea to Summit has been serious about making reliable, functional gear, but knows that the outdoors are incomplete without some fun and games. The founder, Roland Tyson, had a passion for creating equipment and was soon designing for top adventurers who were pushing the limits with the help of Penny Sanderson, an Australian Geographic contributor. Creating lightweight yet durable gear was the objective, and the best way to test their inventions was by exploring some of the most notorious environments on Earth. Today, the love of travel and exploration has pushed the company into its reputation of providing top-tier gear that gets more people outdoors.
